History

Launched in 1983 by Mr Jit Bhurji and Mr Tarne Padhaal in Kisumu – the heart of Kenya’s sugar cane industry – FEIL’s mission was to manufacture and supply high quality agricultural machinery and products at sensible prices. Initially defining a niche supporting the sugar, tea and construction industries by building and manufacturing high quality trailers and agricultural equipment, FEIL has gone from strength to strength ever since.

Over the years, FEIL has established franchises for all the leading agricultural and earth moving equipment brands including Bell, Claas and Hyundai. The past two decades has seen immense regional growth, with branches opening in Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia, South Sudan and Rwanda, firmly establishing FEIL as a regional leader in agricultural and construction supply and manufacturing.
